I returned home again on Friday for Melanie's 18th birthday party, and immense fun it was too. She had a joint party with her two friends Grace and Gin who were also 18 last week; Happy Birthday to them too! Words don't really do parties justice; so here are a few photos...

Melanie's birthday cake, eaten after our family meal yesterday. Nothing to do with the party as such, but I thought it deserved to go up here cos as you can see it's fucking cool. Melanie had the same cake years and years ago. Possibly for her 7th birthday; none of us can really remember!

The one bad thing about this weekend, amidst all the awesomeness of fancy dress, being home, seeing lots of friends and relatives etc is that now I'm back in Sheffield and have absolutely nothing to look forward to over the next few weeks. Exams can go fuck off. First one this Saturday. That's right: Saturday!
